The certification, which follows an in-depth third-party audit of our European operations (Châtelet, Genk, Gueugnon, Isbergues, Recyco) against exacting ESG standards, not only recognizes our own commitment to sustainability but gives our customers confidence that the stainless steel they purchase has been produced in accordance with the best ESG practices.

Feb 28, 2023 – Our Stainless South America operations (Aperam South America, Timóteo) have been successfully certified to be operating at the ResponsibleSteel™ Standard, becoming the first special flat steel manufacturer in Latin America to obtain the ResponsibleSteel™ certification.
